Skills & Requirements

Must-have

  • 3 to 5+ years Real Estate Secured Lending experience
  • Mortgage underwriting principles and borrower risk assessment
  • Experience with credit scores, AVMs, and pricing models
  • Proficiency in decision engines like SAS or FICO
  • Strong analytical skills for strategy optimization

Nice-to-have

  • Champion-challenger testing and test-and-learn frameworks
  • Familiarity with MIS and funnel analytics platforms
  • Experience supporting rule development and system deployment
  • Knowledge of Canadian mortgage regulatory frameworks

Key Requirements
