The Resource Family Trainer is responsible for delivering contracted training and home study models to prospective resource and adoptive parents referred by DCFS.
This full-time, grant-funded position requires extensive in-state travel and work outside normal office hours, with direct supervision by the Resource Family Program Director.

Delivering pre-service training curriculum
Maintaining program documentation
Using Microsoft Office and AV equipment
Nice-to-have
Experience in curriculum development
Fluent in Spanish
Trainer/instructor experience preferred
Ability to work outside normal office hours
Problem-solving and supervision skills
Key Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or Master’s degree in any field
Two years professional experience with children and families
Preferred Master’s in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or Education
Professional licensure preferred (LMSW, LCSW, LAC, LPC)
Pre-employment screening including background checks
