Job Summary
The Switchboard Operator provides processing of all inbound calls from the public at large and internal users, providing general information and caller connecting support through use of the telephone system.
Answers the hospital emergency line, monitors Nurse Call and dispatches all emergencies, and monitors and dispatches hospital facilities alarms.
