Must-have

  • Power supply unit design experience
  • ACDC and DCDC switched mode power supply design
  • Mentor Graphics schematic toolset knowledge
  • Fault diagnosis to component level
  • System requirements partitioning expertise

Nice-to-have

  • Experience with Simetrix or LT Spice simulation tools
  • Knowledge of emerging energy storage materials
  • Familiarity with earth and grounding diagrams
  • Experience with EMC design stage reviews
  • Ability to work as a technical buffer between teams

Key Requirements

  • Minimum HND in Engineering or Systems discipline
  • UK Government Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) screening
  • Potential requirement for National Security Vetting (SC or DV)
