The Endoscopy department offers upper gastrointestinal endoscopy for esophageal, stomach and duodenal disorders, wireless capsule endoscopy and balloon-assisted enteroscopy for intestinal disorders, colonoscopy for diagnostic and therapeutic interventions for colonic disease, and ERCP and endoscopic ultrasound for pancreatic and biliary disorders.
A caregiver who excels in this role will assist the physician with all endoscopic procedures, including colonoscopies, esophagogastroduodenoscopies (EGD), ERCP, flexible sigmoidoscopies and EUS.

Skills & Requirements
Must-have
Assist physician with endoscopic procedures
Maintain cleaning and disinfection of scopes
Transport specimens using universal precautions
Nice-to-have

Key Requirements
High School Diploma or GED
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
One year of experience in a hospital setting
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMT) preferred
