Balboa Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a part-time Speech Therapist to provide evaluations, treatment plans, and patient care supervision in a remote setting. The position requires a licensed Speech Language Pathologist with strong communication skills and experience in documenting patient progress

Job Summary

  • Evaluate patients within twenty four (24) hours, or 1 business day of physician referral and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Supervise Speech Language Pathologist Assistants, communicate with supervisor and other health team members regarding patient progress, and participate in various conferences.
  • Instruct patient’s families or nursing staff in maintenance programs and caregiver training in preparation for discharge from therapy services.
