This position demonstrates advanced knowledge of entry writing, classifying according to the Harmonized Tariff Schedules (HTS), and participating in government agencies clearances (PGA), Code of Regulations, and Customs regulations.
Responsibilities include preparing customs entries, following up on clearance processes, communicating documentation discrepancies, coordinating freight delivery, and resolving finance and accounting reconciliation issues.
The role requires a weekend work schedule on a department rotation basis and holiday schedule based on operational needs.
