Job Summary

  • Provides clinical surgical support by managing all relevant equipment, anticipating needs, and troubleshooting issues during surgical procedures.
  • Maintains knowledge base of equipment and disposable products through Stryker education training programs and provides information on new and current products to physicians and OR personnel.
  • Responsible for maintaining up-to-date account information, adhering to all Stryker and medical facility policies, and analyzing and resolving product issues expediently.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree, Associate’s Degree or equivalent certifications preferred
  • HSPA CRCST Certification within 6 months of start date (for SPD roles)
  • Operating Room experience preferred
  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues in demanding, high stress situations
  • Ability to provide support/coverage on all shifts and on-call services
  • Ability to provide support/coverage at other accounts in other regions
  • Experience in OR technical support or surgical services
  • Familiarity with MIS procedures
  • Familiarity with surgical supply chain or SPD workflows
  • Prior OR or SPD leadership experience preferred
  • Ability to exert up to 50lbs of force occasionally
  • Ability to remain standing and/or walking for an extended period of time
  • Near visual acuity, color vision, mobility, bending, standing, stooping, and finger dexterity
