Job Summary

  • This role requires a strong blend of business process knowledge, data governance expertise, and investment data domain understanding to ensure work is aligned to AIMCo’s most critical data initiatives and the delivery of high-value solutions for data users.
  • Key Responsibilities include owning relationships with senior data domain owners, partnering with investment teams to identify data requirements, and acting as the liaison for data owners to coordinate with the Data & AI team.
  • Success in this role will be demonstrated through strong, trusted relationships with senior data domain owners and key stakeholders, and improved clarity, quality, and accessibility of business metadata in the enterprise data catalog.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Finance, or related field; advanced degree preferred, or equivalent experience
  • Strong understanding of investment data types, investment instruments, and investment industry concepts
  • Experience implementing and supporting data governance frameworks, metadata management practices, data catalog initiatives, and data quality management activities
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data issues, conduct root cause analysis, define quality controls, measure outcomes, and drive improvement strategies
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills
