Job Summary

• The Senior Engineer, Product Development (Robotic cleaning) will be responsible for driving projects from conceptualization till start of production, including design activities, RFQs, DFMEA, PPAP, and DV & PV testing.
• This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and methodologies, with a minimum of 6+ years of experience, and a must-have requirement in plastic design.

Key Requirements

• Minimum 6+ years mechanical engineering experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Experience in plastic design is a must-have
• Proven experience leading product development of plastic components
• Ability to apply advanced DFM principles for plastic components
• Ability to support moldflow or equivalent CAE analyses
• In-depth experience with SolidWorks
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes (plastics)
• Ability to establish and develop DFMEA
• Strong knowledge of steel manufacturing processes
• Strong aptitude in mechanical failure investigation
