Job Summary
The Wisconsin Cooperative Fishery Research Unit is seeking technicians to assist with evaluating effects of front-facing sonar on angler catch rates and fish behavior after trap-and-transfer operations.
Technicians will perform extensive field work involving hook-and-line angling, surgical implantation of electronic transmitters, and operation of fyke nets and boat electrofishing units.
This temporary full-time position offers a salary of $18.00/hour for approximately six months starting around April 1, 2026.
