Job Summary

  • Reviews all new jobs prior to being set up, including prints, programs, material, tooling, fixtures, collets and holders to ensure no interruptions at set up.
  • Determines reference points, machine cutting paths, computes angular and linear dimensions, radii and curvatures.
  • Develops, documents and delivers training to operators, Team Leaders, maintenance and others.

Key Requirements

  • 4 Year Degree in Engineering or related field
  • 5+ years’ experience in setting up, programming and operating Fanuc controlled CNC machining centers
  • Experience with Fanuc Controls, G and M code
  • Experience with operating all forms of inspection equipment
  • Ability to read, interpret and utilize blueprints
  • Basic math skills including algebra, geometry and trigonometry
