As a System Controller, you'll join a team dedicated to managing all 24/7 real-time interfaces with the Powerlink Transmission System, ensuring safe and effective Realtime operations in a complex and rapidly changing environment through the application of highly technical, specialist knowledge of power system operations

Job Summary

  • As a System Controller, you'll join a team dedicated to managing all 24/7 real-time interfaces with the Powerlink Transmission System, ensuring safe and effective Realtime operations in a complex and rapidly changing environment through the application of highly technical, specialist knowledge of power system operations.
  • Perform Realtime operation of the Queensland Transmission System in alignment with the established procedures of the Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO) and execute operational tasks to ensure compliance with power system security requirements.
  • Work 12-hour shifts 3 x a week with competitive remuneration, shift loading, 14.75% super, and 5 weeks annual leave, alongside a commitment to work-life balance and employee wellbeing.
