Job Summary

  • Bases nursing actions by applying principles of purposeful, organized thinking to make clinical judgment/decisions.
  • Performs initial assessments, and reassessments on all patients and documents patient response to each phase of the patient’s procedure experience.
  • Monitors and maintains infection control procedures and safety in all work environments and administers moderate sedation and other medications to patients as ordered.
