Job Summary

• The Infection Control (IC) Manager supports the development and implementation of Extendicare’s person‑centered care philosophy and is accountable for establishing a culture of compliance and adherence to Infection Prevention and Control (IPAC) practices.
• Key responsibilities include managing and overseeing the IPAC program, conducting infectious disease surveillance, auditing IPAC practices, managing outbreaks, and overseeing IPAC education to staff, caregivers, volunteers, visitors, and residents.
