Job Summary

  • The solid tumor hematology oncology NP provides comprehensive ambulatory care to one or more disease specific medical oncology patient populations.
  • The NP is responsible for the assessment and management of solid tumor medical oncology patients, including diagnostic and therapeutic interventions and development and implementation of appropriate plans of care across the trajectory of illness for patients.
  • The hematology oncology APP will provide thorough, compassionate, culturally sensitive clinical care and should demonstrate operational flexibility and strong leadership, problem-solving and communication skills in order to work effectively with other members of the team.

Key Requirements

  • Master's in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) or PhD Degree in Nursing
  • Master’s or post Masters’ degree in Adult program accredited
  • Current Adult/Gerontology (AGNP) or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) Certification
  • Minimum 5 years’ current nurse practitioner experience
  • Clinical nurse practitioner experience in ambulatory practice
  • DEA registration required
  • Current APRN License to practice in Massachusetts
