Job Summary
The Senior Manufacturing Engineer, Steel will be based in Hyderabad, India, reporting to the Steel Manufacturing Engineering Manager, and will develop and manage the local supply chain as local supply becomes more strategic.
Responsibilities include driving industrialization, ramp-up, and continuous improvement of steel processes and supplier networks, as well as ensuring the correct execution of activities related to defining, developing, and launching new or improved products or suppliers.
The role requires leading technical qualification efforts, supporting product development, coordinating with various departments and vendors, identifying and implementing improvements, and troubleshooting manufacturing and equipment issues.

Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering
8–10 years’ experience in heavy steel fabrication
Experience working in a multicultural environment
Experience with India steel manufacturers and manufacturing process and regulations
Experience in CM or OEM manufacturing
two years working regularly with one or more factories
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially in Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to report and present a strategy at executive level
Advanced communication skills
Fluent oral and written communications at least in English
