Job Summary

• Participate in safe, effective and compassionate patient care, providing disease specific expert consultation, examining patients, determining the nature and extent of disease or injury, formulating a plan of care, performing procedures, collecting and analyzing data, and making decisions regarding patient care.
• Provide direction to medical students and residents, fellows and other health care professionals in the treatment of patients and professional conduct, teaching general patient management as well as specifics related to the clinical discipline.
• Participates in scholarly activities as evidenced by publication of clinical investigation, clinical observations, reviews, chapters or books; participation in clinical trials, and/or clinical investigations; and submission of a manuscript to an acceptable journal for publication.
