The Pharmacy Technician works under the direction of a pharmacist to fill and process prescriptions within a specialty pharmacy.
Responsibilities include selecting, filling, and labeling drug products, servicing patients at the drive-up window, preparing prescriptions for shipment, and performing basic inventory tasks.
All technicians must maintain current certification and registration status and participate in ongoing training to develop skills in other pharmacy areas.
