Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred
  • 5+ years of construction estimating, engineering, or similar experience preferred
  • 8+ years of additional relevant experience can be in lieu of degree
  • Knowledge of construction materials
  • General knowledge of estimating techniques, cost control and material pricing
  • Ability to calculate mathematical extensions
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, purchase orders, contracts, and cost coding systems
  • Proficiency in Bluebeam and MS Excel
