The Infection Prevention Specialist provides leadership in the application of the infection control program to patient care, organizational processes and/or systems, improving outcomes at the program or service level.

Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Biology, or Medical Technology
5 or more years of experience in a healthcare setting
2 or more years of experience in infection control/prevention
Certification in Infection Control (CIC) within 2 years of hire
Masters in Public Health, Nursing, or Biology (Preferred)
5 or more years of experience in infection control/prevention (Preferred)
