Job Summary

  • The Technician/Legal Officer will support the identification, registration, and timely legal assistance and follow-up for the protection of individuals and their families, with a special emphasis on those in vulnerable situations and with protection needs due to insecurity, from a human rights perspective.
  • Interview vulnerable individuals and provide them with legal advice and accompaniment for the protection of their rights and/or obtaining documents.
  • The IRC responds to the world's worst humanitarian crises, helping to restore health, safety, education, economic wellbeing, and power to people devastated by conflict and disaster.

  • Permanent availability for local travel
