  • Leads research, design, and development activities to improve NYPA’s energy services, ensuring standards of quality, cost, safety, reliability, timeliness and performance are met.
  • Utilizes advanced computer modeling tools to perform short term operational planning and long term transmission system planning through modeling and simulation of the power system.
  • Provides supervision of maintenance department(s) staff and contractors, prepares and monitors day-to-day work activities, and oversees the safety of employees.
