Job Summary

  • Responsible for developing computer-generated radiation dose distributions, calculating radiation dose treatment times, or monitoring unit settings to deliver prescribed radiation to a defined tumor volume as prescribed by the physician.
  • Supervising, performing, or assisting in simulations and tumor localization using a range of imaging devices, such as PET, MRI, and CT.
  • Function as the senior dosimetrist to provide the highest level of technical expertise to peers.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree Physics required or Life Sciences required or Physical Sciences required or Applied Science required
  • Clinical medical dosimetry experience
  • 3D conformal and IMRT/VMAT/SBRT treatment planning or basic Proton treatment planning
  • 3-5 years required
  • Certified Medical Dosimetrist [CMD] - Medical Dosimetrist Certification Board preferred
