Encanto Palms is seeking a Physical Therapy Aide to assist in the treatment of patients under the direction of a Physical Therapist. The ideal candidate will have a valid Physical Therapy Assistant license, strong communication skills, and the ability to maintain a positive and effective relationship with patients and staff
Job Summary
Treat patients as directed by the Physical Therapist and per the physician treatment plan, recording daily treatment notes and weekly progress notes.
Assist in maintaining the department, including cleaning and maintenance of the treatment area, and participate in Patient Care and Rehabilitation Conferences as needed.
Communicate with supervisors and other health team members regarding patient progress, problems, and plans, and instruct patient families or nursing staff in maintenance programs for caregiver training.
