Tetra Pak is seeking an Occupational Health & Safety Adviser in Hamilton, New Zealand, to ensure compliance with OHS policies and drive continuous improvement towards achieving zero accidents. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in safety and environmental management within a manufacturing environment

Job Summary

  • Support the senior manager on the site/company/factory to ensure compliance to the group OHS policy and associated procedures and to drive continuous improvement towards the Tetra Pak goal of zero accidents and work related ill health.
  • Ensure delivery of the Corporate OHS strategy on their sites/factories.

Key Requirements

  • 3+ years of working experience
  • 24 months experience of a similar OHS role
  • 4 years experience of a similar OHS role
  • 4 years proven experience in an SHE role in a manufacturing environment
  • 2 years in management role
  • Certified Safety Professional (CSP) / NEBOSH certificate is preferable
  • Experience to implement regulatory standards on manufacturing area is preferable
  • Experience to manage security aspects
  • Thorough knowledge of state and federal health, safety & environmental regulations
  • WCM/TPM knowledge related to EHS Pillar
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Incident Investigation, Root Cause Analysis and Problem Solving
