The Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing EHS programs across Nextpower’s’ manufacturing and warehouse operations, while providing occasional safety support for field construction activities, R&D and Nextpower local facilities

Job Summary

  • The Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing EHS programs across Nextpower’s’ manufacturing and warehouse operations, while providing occasional safety support for field construction activities, R&D and Nextpower local facilities.
  • This role will drive continuous improvement in safety culture, compliance, and risk reduction in high-volume industrial environments such as production, electrical testing, material handling, quality control, and equipment maintenance, all of which require strong coordination and safety oversight.
  • Nextpower is driving the global energy transition with an integrated clean energy technology platform that combines intelligent structural, electrical, and digital solutions for utility-scale power plants.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in EHS or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive EHS experience in manufacturing or heavy industry
  • Strong working knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1910 and Cal/OSHA regulations
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and EHS management systems
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel occasionally
