Job Summary
The primary function of this role is to assure transplant patients' medical services are covered by insurance through verification and authorization.
The coordinator must problem-solve in real time to guide patients and staff regarding insurance lapses, under-insurance, and coverage complexities.
This position requires maintaining less than 5% inaccuracy in documenting patient-specific insurance benefits and limitations throughout the transplant process.

Proficiency in EMR and various IT systems required
