The Staff Occupational Therapist evaluates and treats patients, communicates with families, physicians and other health team members and maintains documentation of services in the medical records.
The role includes supervising Occupational Therapy Assistants and conducting in-service training for facility staff on an ongoing basis.
The therapist participates in patient care conferences, discharge planning, and recommends necessary durable medical equipment to facilitate patient independence.

Key Requirements
