The University of Arkansas System Division of Agriculture is seeking a County Extension Agent specializing in Family & Consumer Science to develop community-based educational programs focused on health, nutrition, and family well-being in Lonoke, Arkansas. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a related field and strong communication skills, as well as the ability to engage with diverse community members
Job Summary
Conducts practical, community-based educational programs to empower individuals, families, & communities in the area of nutrition, family well-being, health, food safety, & economic self-sufficiency.
Develops and executes an annual action plan, plans, delivers and teaches educational programs, demonstrations, and activities that address the needs of the county’s clientele.
Employs effective evaluation techniques to measure the impact of county FCS and 4-H programs and compiles and communicates program results to stakeholders.
