Job Summary
Proposes and maintains minimum requirements in all workspaces, stores, receiving, and waste disposal areas to ensure that needed hygiene standards are adhered to at all times.
Conducts regular inspection of food receiving, preparation, storage, and service areas to identify and correct any food safety and hygiene issues, and handles internal food safety audits.
Liaises with external agencies (labs, government agencies, etc.) on sanitary matters, and manages the segregation, storage, and timely removal of all waste – recycles, hazardous, and confidential waste streams.

Key Requirements
Minimum of five (5) years of work experience in food safety, quality assurance or HACCP management in a luxury hotel
HACCP & Food Safety certifications is a strong advantage
Graduate of a degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Food Technology, or related studies is an asset
