Job Summary

  • Proposes and maintains minimum requirements in all workspaces, stores, receiving, and waste disposal areas to ensure that needed hygiene standards are adhered to at all times.
  • Conducts regular inspection of food receiving, preparation, storage, and service areas to identify and correct any food safety and hygiene issues, and handles internal food safety audits.
  • Liaises with external agencies (labs, government agencies, etc.) on sanitary matters, and manages the segregation, storage, and timely removal of all waste – recycles, hazardous, and confidential waste streams.
