The University of Arkansas Division of Agriculture is seeking a Farm Technician to assist with poultry research and environmental sustainability studies. The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field, preferably with prior poultry production experience
Job Summary
The incumbent will assist with in-house bird studies aimed at reducing antibiotic use and pathogenic infections and improving overall food safety.
Incumbent will also assist with poultry litter amendment studies aimed at reducing ammonia emissions in houses for improving animal welfare and environmental sustainability.
The Division of Agriculture was established in 1959 and is headed by the Vice-President for Agriculture.
