The University of Arkansas Division of Agriculture is seeking a Farm Technician to assist with poultry research and environmental sustainability studies. The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field, preferably with prior poultry production experience

Job Summary

  • The incumbent will assist with in-house bird studies aimed at reducing antibiotic use and pathogenic infections and improving overall food safety.
  • Incumbent will also assist with poultry litter amendment studies aimed at reducing ammonia emissions in houses for improving animal welfare and environmental sustainability.
  • The Division of Agriculture was established in 1959 and is headed by the Vice-President for Agriculture.
