Job Summary

  • Provides ownership and support to ensure Intel complies with all local and regional environmental health and safety (EHS) regulations and to all Intel EHS standards.
  • Coordinates the monitoring of workplace environments and is responsible for the recognition, evaluation, and control of those environmental factors or stresses arising in or from the workplace that may cause sickness, impaired health, or injury among the employees and/or citizens of the community.
  • Prepares and schedules training to cover emergency procedures, workplace safety, and educates employees on how to prevent health problems and other hazards using safety training programs.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, or relevant sciences with 3 years of EHS experience OR Master's degree with 1 year of EHS experience
  • 1+ year experience in engineering and science principles relevant to the semiconductor industry
  • 1+ year experience in EHS principles including Exposure Assessments, Chemical Evaluations, PHAs and JHAs, Environmental Engineering, or related fields
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • 5+ years of industrial hygiene experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Regulatory experience with NIOSH, ACGIH, OSHA, EPA, NFPA, and other standards
