Job Summary
Responsible for the pre-operative interview of patients and appropriate scheduling of surgical procedures.
Works closely with hospital or facility where procedure will be performed to make appropriate arrangements, and assists in coordination of meetings, as well as provider, clinic, surgery and on-call schedules.
Acts as primary resource for the surgical patient and the surgeon, maintaining relationships with outside offices, facilities and hospital departments.
