Job Summary
Complete insurance verification and eligibility checks, collect and accurately document pre-certification/authorization information, and initiate the process of obtaining required referrals/authorizations.
Maintain knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and third-party payer requirements, insurance plans requiring pre-authorization, and accepted insurance plans.
