The NC School for the Deaf is seeking a full-time School Speech-language Pathologist responsible for providing speech services to students with IEPs, ensuring compliance with educational guidelines, and enhancing American Sign Language (ASL) skills. This position involves collaboration with various stakeholders and is set within a supportive educational environment focused on Deaf and hard of hearing students

Job Summary

  • This position will ensure quality student support services working within the Exceptional Children guidelines and the school's budgetary guidelines.
  • This position is responsible for leading the NCSD Student Admissions Team, working with LEAs in and outside of North Carolina.
  • The North Carolina School for the Deaf is a specialty school for Deaf/Hard of Hearing students, ages 3 (three) to 22 (twenty-two), with a catchment area encompassing the 46 westernmost counties in North Carolina.
