Newport Memory Care is seeking a Laundry Attendant to perform general laundry and housekeeping tasks in a nursing home environment. The ideal candidate will have some experience with laundry services, a high school diploma or GED, and strong attention to detail to ensure a sanitary living space for residents

Job Summary

  • Performs a variety of general laundry and housekeeping/cleaning duties to provide quality laundry service and to maintain the nursing home in a sanitary manner, and free from offensive orders.
  • Make available a quantity of clean linen for proper care and comfort of all residents and deliver clean laundry items to resident rooms.
  • Follows all sanitary processes and procedures related to laundry duties and maintains inventory of laundry supplies.
