Job Summary

  • This role directly contributes to GM's vision of Zero Crashes, Zero Emissions, and Zero Congestion by developing next-generation Super Cruise features.
  • The successful candidate will utilize systems level thinking to conduct functional safety work aligned with ISO26262 standards.
  • Candidates must be comfortable working in a hybrid model reporting to Warren, MI or Milford, MI at least three times per week.

Skills & Requirements

Must-have

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering
  • 3+ years industry experience in systems safety
  • Knowledge of ISO26262 functional safety process
  • Experience with FIA and safety requirement development
  • Ability to work in hybrid environment 3 days weekly

Nice-to-have

  • Hands-on HARA and Safety Case closure experience
  • Working knowledge of ADAS architectures
  • Experience with DNG/DOORS or Medini tools
  • Strong project management and communication skills
  • Comfortable working with ambiguity in fast-paced environment

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or Computer Science
  • 3+ years post-graduation industry engineering experience
  • Basic knowledge of ISO26262
