Job Summary
This role supports critical inspection activities ensuring the integrity and reliability of components for Rocket Lab's advanced manufacturing programs including the Neutron rocket.
The successful candidate will lead penetrant (PT) inspections, develop testing procedures, and provide technical guidance to NDT Level I and II technicians.

Must-have
Certified NDT Level III Penetrant Testing
5+ years mechanical assembly or NDT experience
Experience with super alloys like Inconel and Titanium
Knowledge of ASME, ASTM, and AWS standards
Ability to work evening shifts Monday-Thursday
Nice-to-have
Proven experience improving NDT process efficiency
Familiarity with complex geometry inspection techniques
Background in aviation or space industry R&D
Key Requirements
NDT Level III certification in Penetrant Testing (ASNT/NAS 410)
AWS CWI certification or equivalent
High school diploma or GED
Minimum 5 years of relevant mechanical/NDT experience
