Job Summary
Under the direction of the Clinical Nutrition Manager or Chief Clinical Dietitian, the Senior Dietitian provides advanced medical nutrition therapy to patients with complex medical conditions in a large, fast-paced academic healthcare environment.
The Senior Dietitian evaluates and manages therapeutic diets and nutrition interventions, including diagnosing malnutrition, performing Nutrition-Focused Physical Exams (NFPE), and overseeing enteral and parenteral nutrition support.
Working collaboratively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, medical staff, ancillary departments, and food service personnel, the Senior Dietitian supports coordinated patient care and positive clinical outcomes.
