Job Summary
The Technical Officer, Track Renewal is responsible to perform system wide repair, maintenance and replacement of all track components such as rails, switches and crossings so as to support SMRT in providing safe and reliable train service to our commuters.
Responsibilities include operating an engineering consist, complying with work and safety procedures, and carrying out preventive maintenance duties.
The role involves completing necessary paperwork, rail change or built up welding works, performing thermit weldings, and planning the Track Renewal weekly schedule.
