  • This role serves as the key link between corporate EHS and German site operations, providing strategic direction and operational support for manufacturing and distribution sites.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for strengthening a proactive safety culture, identifying Serious Incident and Fatality risks, and managing incident investigations including root cause analysis.

  • ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 Lead Auditor certification
  • Experience with ATEX 137 regulations in chemical warehouses
  • Fluent German and English communication skills
  • Certification as Fachkraft für Arbeitssicherheit

Nice-to-have

  • SEVESO inventory management experience
  • Ergonomics experience
  • Knowledge of safety in automation
  • Fire Protection Officer qualification
  • Behavior-based safety program development

Key Requirements

  • Degree-level qualification in science or occupational safety
  • Fachkraft für Arbeitssicherheit (ASiG §6) certification
  • Lead Auditor certification for ISO 14001 & 45001
  • Extensive EHS experience in global multi-site organizations
  • Fluent German and English (C1) language proficiency
