** GSK is seeking a National Field Head for US Medical, Specialty to drive a high-performing medical affairs team, focusing on field medical strategy and compliance within specialty therapy areas. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in pharmaceutical industry roles and a strong background in medical affairs, particularly in engaging with healthcare professionals and stakeholders. **

Job Summary

  • The National Field Head, US Medical, Specialty will help drive a high performing MSL organization in alignment with therapeutic area and pipeline assets and customer strategy.
  • The incumbent will be accountable for ensuring the teams:: perform against priority activities, possess a high level of scientific expertise and knowledge, support therapeutic area strategies, collect, and translate high quality medical voice of customer (mVOC), and understand the US healthcare environment and its impact on various customer segments (HCPs, Payers, Health Systems, etc.).

Key Requirements

  • PhD, PharmD or physician (M.D. or equivalent)
  • Seven or more years of experience designing and delivering field medical affairs brand plans
  • Five or more years of experience working in a specialty therapy area
  • Eight or more years of pharmaceutical industry experience
  • Five or more years in a field medical management role
