Job Summary

  • The Technical Sales Representative is responsible for working with an established distributor network to expand the company’s market share in the medical piped equipment and laboratory markets.
  • The successful candidate works closely with design engineers, distribution partners, end users (Healthcare Facilities and Laboratories), and contractors to develop growth strategies and exceed annual revenue plan targets based on customer needs, competition, and market potential.
  • The position will involve training distribution partners on product and application knowledge, as well as making regular client calls.

Key Requirements

  • BS/BA undergraduate degree preferred
  • Technical or Engineering background preferred
  • 3-5+ years of Capital Equipment sales experience preferred
  • Experience with Medical Gas Equipment, Compressed air systems, and/or Vacuum systems preferred
  • Medical gas testing experience, ASSE certification, NFPA 99 knowledge beneficial
  • Current experience supporting and managing customers in the territory preferred
  • Familiarity with CRM software
  • Familiarity with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
