Job Summary

  • The Naval Architect and Marine Engineer II will prepare, modify, and review scantling and outfitting drawings and analyses against applicable class society and regulatory rules.
  • Perform detailed design/drafting of marine craft structures, plans, and outfitting for new shipbuilding and repair/conversion, including structural calculations and interpretation of rules.
  • Provide solutions to complex structural and shipbuilding problems and assist in the integration of the design in Production, working closely with shipyard personnel.
