Job Summary

• This position in Preclinical Operations is responsible for providing clinical veterinary support for the Animal Care and Use program at the Ethicon Endo Surgery animal facility.
• You will be responsible for providing high quality veterinary care to research animals in support of J&J’s portfolio and serving as backup for the Attending Veterinarian.
• The role requires interaction with preclinical personnel to understand research needs, focusing on 3Rs, humane endpoints, and adverse effects, and training colleagues in relevant techniques.

Key Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine/Veterinary Medical Doctor required
• 2+ years of experience in clinical veterinary medicine
• Regulated industry experience strongly preferred
• Licensure in the State of Ohio or ability to gain licensure
• Experience with livestock/large animals in research setting strongly preferred
