Job Summary

  • This position is part of Operational Risk within ERM, supporting the Business Resiliency team in advancing the company’s enterprise resilience strategy.
  • In this role, you will lead and execute key components of the enterprise resilience program, including business impact assessments, business continuity planning, cyber and technology resilience activities, and resilience exercises, while partnering with the business and technology leaders to strengthen preparedness and response capabilities.
  • This role will have a Hybrid work arrangement, with the expectation of working in the Hartford, CT office 3 days a week (Tuesday through Thursday).

Key Requirements

  • 5 years of experience in operational resilience, business continuity, risk management, technology risk, or related disciplines
  • 8-10+ years in enterprise environments, risks management, audit or similar roles
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Risk Management, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Demonstrated ability to apply critical thinking and sound judgment
  • Proven ability to independently own and drive work end-to-end
  • Demonstrated ability to lead through influence rather than hierarchy
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Demonstrated experience applying business continuity, crisis management, technology, or cyber resilience frameworks
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills, adaptability, and time management
  • Skilled in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
  • Experience with BI/visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau)
  • Knowledge of business continuity, crisis management, and recovery frameworks (ISO 22301, NIST Cybersecurity Framework)
  • Familiarity with incident response, business resiliency or disaster recovery planning
  • Experience working with senior executives and presenting complex information
