Job Summary
Position reviews medical report documentation to determine/verify appropriate CPT and ICD-10 diagnosis code assignment, exercising independent judgment and decision making for accurate coding & billing.
Primary duties include reviewing Pathology reports in Epic Beaker, identifying pertinent facts for comprehensive diagnosis and procedure codes, and assigning CPT and ICD-10 codes.
