Job Summary

  • The successful candidate will assist team clinicians and care-giving colleagues with the reception, evaluation, and treatment of all patients within the Equine Surgery unit.
  • This position also provides surgical assistance such as preparing patient and equipment for surgery, placing IV catheter and administer preoperative medications, setting up appropriate equipment and instruments and cleaning and disinfecting operating rooms, equipment, and related areas.
  • The person in this position will also check-in and discharge patients using proper protocols, document in ezyVet – charge entry, patient vitals and weight, and provide general client communication.
