Job Summary
Workday is building a state-of-the-art multi-cloud platform to host thousands of customers seamlessly across public and private clouds.
This role will involve developing and deploying service communication technologies to support existing and future networking needs for cloud native microservices and legacy services migrating to cloud.
You will work with the upstream community to improve and optimize Istio and Envoy for large scale, high uptime deployments.

Key Requirements
3+ years experience developing in a modern programming language
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
5+ years experience developing in a modern programming language
Experience with running server orchestration solutions in production
Experience designing and building a microservice architecture
Deep knowledge of and experience with Linux
Familiar with Service mesh technologies, ideally Istio / Envoy
Ability to communicate effectively
Experience working in an Agile environment
Experience developing automation solutions
Experience with a public cloud platform
Knowledge of Storage, Networking, Systems, configuration management
Knowledge of standard methodologies for Cloud Native infrastructure management and operations
